Lili's Little Fairies - peaches & cream

Hello dear friend.... I have been a little quiet perhaps this week trying to get lots done behind the scenes... 
at least today I can share with you my latest DT card for Lili's Little Fairies .
The theme this week is "Peaches & Cream"...
 here is my card...

this little cutie is called "Butterfly Meadow"  coloured with Spectrums. the papers are Carta Bella  "Traditions" papers from Jessica Sprague.

 I have added loads of stitching & distressing. I have used Tim Holtz "Tattered Florals" die, some pearls & a mesh butterfly from stash , and a LOTV sentiment tag.

Hello my dear friend... today is a special day. its my nieces 18th birthday, and this card was made with her in mind...

 my first attempt at red hair.. and it took me forever... couldn't get it just right.... 
but here she is ...

  this cutie is of course a Saturated Canary image, called "Ava", she is coloured with my Spectrums. the papers are Nitwits "Perfect Pair". the sketch is a "Deconstructed sketch" , I always look here for a layout inspiration! ... 

I had the devils job getting the face just right after the red strands of hair feathered..Grrrr! still... I think it looks OK ?
I LOVE the papers too....

Anything Goes Challenge - Make It Manly

Hello my lovelies... good evening to you.. sorry for being a little slack on the blogging front...I have been MEGA busy!! 
I have a quick card to share today.. and a special one tomorrow..(stay tuned )

                      
 this was a quickie... yep.. No colouring needed.. I got this digi witha coloured version too.. this is "Racer Lewis" from Prarie Fairy, the papers are "Hometown proud" from Dani. Just a simple layout really,and the rosette was made using a freebie scoreboard I got with a mag a while back...It made it really to get the folds spot on.

 I fussy cut & 3d'd Lewis and added a sentiment and the age.
thats it really.... A nice and bright & cheery card.

Forever Friends monthly Challenge - Animals/Butterflies/Birds

Hello you lot....
Welcome to the weekend !
you might have caught my post over on the Spectrum Noir blog yesterday, where I created a coloured image using mostly dots....?
Its was one of those gorgeous stamps from LOTV...such an adorable bunny...

Isn't he the cutest? I love that glittery paper too... I think its "Woodland Folk" he is called "Arms full of daisies", coloured with my spectrums.

the sketch is a Deconstructed sketch 89.. I kinda like its CAS style...

Happy Campers challenge - Use a favourite stamp

Hello and good morning sweeties.... Friday is finally here! 
I am heading off to work imminently, and its a loooong shift...So, I have a quick card to share...
 when I say quick... it took me a while.. but worth it I think.. I am happy with the outcome... and using one of my all time favourite stamp ranges.. Lili of the Valley.
So, here it is....

this adorable pair are called"Anniversary surprise", which I coloured with my Speccies... the papers are Prima "Romance Novel", stitched all round, distressed with DI ink & acrylic paint.
I have embellished with small organza ribbon roses.. some antique peach lace, Kraft die cuts, (again painted), a pin , pearls and a scrap of lace tied with twine, and a LOTV sentiment tag..

I hope the happy couple like it.....

Saturated Canary Challenge- Love

Hello peeps! its the weekend..yay! I am working today.. after a few lovely days off... feeling all loved up from Valentines Day...Hope you do tooo.!?!
I have a card to share with was intended for the Sugar Nellie FB challenge group which I always try to enter... and the The Sugarbowl ties in nicely with it....
Such, a big bonus to find that it also fits nicely into the new Saturated Challenge "love" this fortnight.
so, here it is....

The papers are Echo Park "Yours Truly"... I have made the flower from heart die cut... added paint and glitter.. and a huuuge button.
The stamp is "Bella Bunting" an all time fav.. from the pen of the fabulous Krista Smith, creator of the Saturated Canary......
She is coloured with my Spectrums. The sentiment is  computer generated , I have added stitching and some cotton lace.... and a couple of gems to finish..

I hope you can see why I just LOVE Bella.... she is a joy to colour.....

Lili's Little Fairies - Pearls

good morning you lot....! 
 Happy valentines day... are you feeling all loved up?
 Well I have a card to share to day for Lili's Little Fairies, where the new theme is "pearls".. Not really in keeping with a passionate red creation.. but there is hearts...
still, I LOVE this cute little fella, and whats even nicer is .. I WON him..Yay! 
So, I an attempt to use up some of my papers.. I dug out some Websters pages.. and here is the result...

Isn't he the cutest???? this one is called "Flower arranging"
 I have coloured him very softly with my Spectrums, added a daisy from WOC, and a bit of netting. my pearls are 3 hearts , and liquid pearls dotted round my image.

That's it really ... just a simple layout....
now, its a really easy challenge... and there is lots of inspiration from the DT.. and as always a fabby prize up for grabs... All you need to do is use a LOTV image... simple!

Crafting When We Can- Cards for Boys

Hello peeps!
The start of the week - again... but this one I don't mind...
 Pancake  day, valentine's , a short week as I have an extra day off...So working Monday, but then not til Friday.
Oh ! and the first of my Dabble days on Sunday...
 Have I not told you???!!!!
 I am beginning Spectrum Noir classes at my local garden centre......
Here is a link ... I am really nervous.... I think that should say Sunday 17th not Thursday...lol! 
Anyway... its just a chance to pop in and have a go with the pens...with an insight on how they work... I am booking classes too... 
Anyhooooooo, on with my next card.....

this is Surfin' Christian from Simply Betty ... I have had him an absolute age... sadly , there hasnt been much call to use him...I have coloured him with my Spectrums, and the papers are a download from Summer Driggs...called "flip-flopsicles" I love the brights on this....Its fab to get a chance to use them....

 Just a simple layout really, computer generated sentiment, and on the inside it says.. "Hope its swell".
Its for one of the guys at work.. he surfs..( and he is a fireman...) lol!

Glitter and Sparkle challenge - cards for a girl

Hello my lovelies... well we survived the little visitor.. although I am thinking I may need a "Power" nap! lol! 
I have a card to share , as promised using my new fabby prize stamps from LOTV!
 I adore this bunny! 

the papers are digital from Jessica Sprague. these are Samantha Walker  "Rosie" collection... a bargain for $1 on One Buck Wednesday!  The stamp is "Flower arranging" from LOTV . 

He is coloured with my Spectrums

 I have punched out loads of daisies with my old daisy stamps (gosh I have had those since I started card making). I have used my Cheery Lynn flourish die , and added lots of pearls, some stickles and a lace flower from stash and a daisy from WOC.
the sentiment is from the geisha girl companion  set from LOTV... using the words from the scroll sentiments
so, there is my first creation with these new LOTV releases, but stand by for lots more..

Thro the Craft Room Door- Anything Goes

Hello Peeps!
Finally Friday has arrived.... We have a little visitor this weekend, so we will be kept busy for sure.. 
So, just a quick card to share... one for the guy in your life this time.

I have used a mix of  papers... and an older digi called Ronnie  I think.... He is coloured with Spectrums and fussy cut out. I have die cut the letters and popped them on , adding a couple of the card candies to finish.

Fab N Funky challenges- Valentines hearts

Hello campers... another chilly start here, but I see a little sun...
things always seem better in the sunshine don't they??? 
 So, what have you been up to?
 I have been busy with commissioned  cards.. this is one for a friend.. ( which means I should probably get hubby's made PDQ) 
Here is my creation for her.. to give to him.. IYKWIM..lol!

The cute bunny is from the pen of Zlatoena... you probably recognise if from  the Cats Pajamas  stamp range.. I got mine as a digi here.... the papers are from Echo Park..called Be Mine again these are digital from Jessica Sprague... and even better I bought them on One Buck Wednesday ..Yep for $1!!!!!!!

 He is colored with my Spectrums.. using BG6-1, PP2&1 TN2,1 And EB1 . the edge of circle is lightly inked with Stampin Up's Baja breeze ink. the word husband is die cut with my Fruit Smoothie sizzlits dies. the sentiment is computer generated. I just LOVE those papers!!! 
anyhoooo, hope you like him..... I changed the star to a heart on this occasion...

Sugar Nellie Facebook Challenge - Bling

Hello... lovely to see you... Happy Sunday!
There is another challenge up over on the Sugar Nellie FB group... add a little "Bling"... and you know that I am a real sweet tooth and can't resist a little "Sugar" ! 
Here is my entry..... 

The papers are Prime "Tea thyme", the image is "Fairy Cakes" coloured with my Spectrums, I have added a square doily nad some muslin, the flowers are from the Die-namics Flower Trio. I have distressed .. a lot.... and used lots of stitching.
